“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive” -- Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, Canto VI, Stanza 17.
It is a reflection on the quality of character education in our public schools and churches that so few have a sense of honor and integrity.
It is a shame that so many people think so little of themselves that they will lie, perjure themselves and commit other crimes.
It is of concern that people of honor and integrity tolerate what should be intolerable.
It is of alarm that among the jurists and attorneys who argue our laws, and rule on their application--that some deliberately misconstrue, legislate their personal biases from the bench, abrogate our Founding laws with bad case law and help rogue colleagues avoid punishment for their deliberate, treacherous misdeeds.
Judges are to APPLY the existing law, not make new laws.
Legislators are to make the laws.
Judges that want to make laws need to resign and run for legislative office--or be impeached.
