Do you realize that everything you do is a political statement? One infamous genocidal tyrant put it this way:
“War is the continuation of politics by other means. It can therefore be said that politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed.” Chairman Mao Tse-Tong, in his book On Protracted War
In Gulliver’s Travels, the swarm of Lilliputians tied Gulliver down with many weak strands. Each can be easily broken, if strength is applied to them one at a time. One thread at a time, then you’re free.
The classic question in Economics 101 classes is: Guns or Butter?
The classic question in Outsourcing 101 is: Make or Buy?
The modern question as Patriots we must ask is: How can I align my purchases to strengthen those who stand for The U.S. Constitution and thus protect our Country and MY FAMILY’S SAFETY?
Break the bondage to suppliers who, in pandering to the greatest number, the underinformed and undiscerning masses, endanger everyone by failing to take a stand for the U.S.A. in their advertising and especially in their supply chain and employment policies. Make them take a position.
Several days ago, I received an email petition with nearly 800 names on it. Unfortunately, it was a waste of time and effort by everyone who participated. If YOU were a Machiavellian, agenda-driven tyrant in a position of relatively untouchable power, would that one email cause you to bow to the Will of the People? Miracles happen, but probably not!
There is a better, more effective way to use time and information. Emailed Petitions are mostly worthless and often feed spambots and scammers and list rental firms. Even hand-delivered Constitutional Petitions are of limited value--think of tearful peasants in front of Mugabe’s bulldozers. Make--but don’t rely exclusively upon--appeals to conscience and of waving a sign at the bulldozer operator--who, like Kurt Waldheim and those convicted of war crimes at Nuremberg is “just following orders.”
But beyond that--
You’ve got to grab a Vise-Grips® and pinch off the fuel line.
You’ve got to stop buying from the firms that finance and fuel the bulldozers. Stop buying from those who refuse to take a pro-USA position. DON’T settle for mere flag-waving.
If you’re not outraged, YOU’RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!
What to do?
Again,
Follow the Money.
Identify the Source.
Shut off the Flow.
Work Backwards from the Puppet who appears to be a Rogue Leader to the money source.
Lobbyists schmooze politicians.
Associations Hire/Fund the Lobbyists.
Big Business, Big Labor Unions and Small/Midsize Businesses pay DUES to the Associations or directly retain lobbyists and fund political campaigns and parties--sometimes also cutting corrupt officials into the deal.
Customers who buy from these businesses paying too much attention to the price tag and not enough attention to the hidden costs of buying stuff made cheaply on the backs of illegal wage-slaves in the hire of illegal wage-slavers. If you’re buying from criminal employers, you’re an accessory after the fact. Look in the mirror. Break the habit, not the mirror.
Shareholders in these companies expect honest, no-lawsuit profitability or management changes and shareholder class actions ensue. There are those who will make sure of that.
Get out your wallet. Look at it again--it’s a deadly economic weapon. Commit to use it wisely. Now put it back in your pocket or purse without spending anything. If you will do this for a few weeks, you will change America.
The businesses out there, often in amoral pursuit of profits, focus on whatever it takes to survive and increase profits and/or shareholder dividends. Can you delay spending some money with them for a while? Can you do completely without most of what they sell? The answer is yes, if necessary. They need you more than you need them.
The bottom line of “Financial Impeachment” is this: Let them know why you’re not shopping. Change your shopping policies and you can change corporate policies!
