Rule #1. Immoral edicts are ‘law’ and not truly The Law.
Rule #2. The word SUBJECT TO defines who’s in charge.
Rule #3. In the USA, the Citizens are sovereign over their
               public servants, who serve subject to--
               contingent to--their good behavior.
Rule #4. In case of bad law or bad lawyers remember Rules #1-3.
Rule #5. Remember: yes we have guns, but we use ballots,
               not bullets for regime change.  It’s the right thing
               to do and it is less messy, except where bad lawyers
               are involved.< grin >   Citizens did the right thing
